Hi, my name is Amanda Waters. I am from Elizabethtown, KY. I am not married and do not have any kids, but I do own the BEST dog in the whole world...Sammie! He is a yellow lab who is beautiful and has a wonderful personality. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my boyfriend Michael. I also like going to the lake, running, laying out in the sun, vacationing, watching UK sports, and listening to country music. My favorite T.V. shows are American Idol and the Bachelor! I guess I am a sucker for reality television! I currently teach 5th grade at Morningside Elementary School. I teach the writing and science to all 5th grade. I absolutely love what I do! I am in the process of finally completing my master's degree in elementary education this summer!

Key question being discussed on this blog:
How are plants and animals living in particular biomes adapted to the climatic and geographical features of that biome?
Students will learn background information about each biome, and how they are different in terms of resources, climate, life on them, etc. They will then research adaptations animals must have to live in certain biomes.
Students might also discover which biomes have the most limited selection of plants and animals? Why?
